Facility Maintenance - PT

Location: Onsite in Clearwater, FL
Job Title: Facility Maintenance
Wages: $17 hr
Part Time 20 - 25 hrs a week
WCLF, Christian Television Network is looking for a part-time Facility Maintenance worker.
Primary Purpose:
Routine inspection of the facility to determine problems and necessary maintenance.

WCLF, Christian Television Network is looking for a part-time Facility Maintenance worker.
Primary Purpose:
Routine inspection of the facility to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore use of fixtures
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
- Overseeing 3rd party tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers,)
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Maintenance network to hire contractors and utilize 3rd party vendors for more technical/advanced skill-level work.
Required Education and Experience
- Experience as maintenance or facilities technician
- Technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, plumbing, etc.)
- General knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Understanding of budgeting and performance management
- Planning abilities are important in this position; leadership skills a plus
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
